MARK EDMONDSON

PROFESSIONAL RUGBY CAREER

Mark Edmondson played for St Helens Rugby League Club who are the current 2022 English Super League Premiership Champions and the World Club Champions.

Mark Edmondson played more than 150 professional 1st grade games for the English & World Club Champions St Helens Rugby League team.

Marks time at St Helens was a very successful one he was apart of 9 Championship Finals and St Helens won 6 of them.

Mark also was an England International Rugby League player who went on tours to South Africa, Australia, Fiji and Tonga playing for his country.

Mark fulfilled his greatest sporting dream in 2006 when he signed and played for the Sydney City Roosters in Australia and at the time was ranked as the greatest team to ever play the sport.

Mark was a professional athlete for 12 years, played 200 professional 1st grade games, represented his country of England multiple times, won multiple championships, and played for the worlds greatest teams.

Mark played against and with the best athletes in the world and reached the highest level of professional sport.

COACHING CAREER

Mark Edmondson has been a world class peak performance coach for the last 12 years.

Mark Edmondson works closely with athletes helping them to develop the elite mindset required to succeed in life and sport.

Mark Edmondson has travelled all over the world presenting on human performance psychology and peak performance.

Mark was the peak performance coach for the England Rugby Union National Team and helped them reach the Rugby Union World Cup final in Japan 2019.

Mark has worked closely with the worlds fastest man Usain Bolt in 2018.

Mark Edmondson has trained hundreds of champions from all codes of sport.

UFC FIGHTER & MMA WORLD CHAMPION

MEGAN ANDERSON

Mark Edmondson was Megan Anderson’s peak performance coach and training partner.

He helped Megan develop the elite mindset needed in order to succeed at the highest level in sport.

Megan soaked up the sports psychology training and flourished in her MMA journey.

In 2017, Megan Anderson became the Invicta Women’s Featherweight Champion of the World.

Megan challenged Amanda Nunes for the UFC Women’s Featherweight Championship Belt at UFC 259 in 2021 but unfortunately she lost via triangle arm bar in Round One.

ENGLAND RUGBY UNION 1ST TEAM

ENGLAND RFU

Mark was the Peak Performance Coach of the England Rugby Union Team in 2018/19 and assisted 2017 (IRB) International Coach of the Year (Eddie Jones) to win 13 out of 19 games.

England lost 6 out 9 games in 2018 before Mark joined the coaching team.

England’s greatest moment came in the 2019 World Cup Semi Final in Yokohama Japan when they totally outclassed and outplayed the worlds number 1 ranked team the New Zealand All Blacks in a convincing 19-7 victory.

England ended up losing 12-32 against South Africa in the World Cup Final in Tokyo Japan.

Before Marks involvement with the England Rugby Team in 2018 they finished 5th in the Six Nations - lost against the Barbarians 45-63 and lost a three game Test Series against South Africa 2-1.

THE FASTEST MAN IN THE WORLD

USAIN BOLT

Mark was the peak performance coach for Usain Bolt in 2018 when he joined the Central Coast Mariners FC on a trial basis.

Mark was lucky enough to work closely with Usain and offer him advice on how to effectively perform and work in a team sport environment.

UFC FIGHTER

JAKE MATTHEWS

Mark is the former peak performance coach for Jake Matthews, a current UFC Fighter.

Mark taught Jake sport psychology and how to develop The Champion Mindset at the very start of his career in MMA.

Mark travelled Australia with Jake to UFC events as a coach, training partner and corner man helping him prepare mentally and physically for his fights.

Jake is now a veteran in the UFC and still has so many opportunities left in the sport.

Jake's MMA record stands at 19-0-6 .

(AFL) AUSTRALIAN RULES FOOTBALLER

MAVERICK WELLER

Mark is the former peak performance coach for Maverick Weller who is a former professional Australian rules footballer who played for the Gold Coast Suns, St Kilda Football Club and Richmond Football Club in the Australian Football League (AFL).

Maverick carved out a wonderful (182) game career and was renowned for his gifted physical abilities on the field and his mental toughness.

Mark would on many occasions stay at Mavericks house and teach him all there was to know about peak performance psychology.

Maverick became an Ambassador for Team Edmondson and teachings.
